It is used for the determination of soundness by expansion method of ordinary and rapid hardening Portland cement, low heat Portland cement and class 'A' Limes.It consists of a small split cylinder forming a mould. On either side of the split cylinder.
Used for determining the expansion for cement. The mould consists of a spring tensioned slit cylinder 30mm internal diameter, 30mm high with two indicator stems which measure 165mm from the points of the centre line of the cylinder and o ring Two or Three moulds are required for each test. To perform the test a water bath is also required.
