- Storage: Gloves should not be exposed to direct sunlight or other source of ozone. It is desirable that the ambient storage temperature shouldnot exceed 35degree celsius.
- Issue: Gloves intended for electrical line workers should be issued in a protective container, free from grease and oil. Gloves issued for emergency use only should be kept in waterproof containers.
- Manufacturers recommendations for glove cleaning: When the gloves become soiled they should be washed in soap and water, at a temperature not exceeding 30degrees Celsius, throughly dried and dusted with tale. Gloves that become wet in use, or by washing, must be dried thoroughly, but not in a manner that will cause the temperature of the gloves to exceed 65degrees Celsius
